LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Coaching, movement programs, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), and Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) are not counseling services. Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) does not provide clinical counseling or psychotherapy. Coaching, movement programs, SSP, and RRP are not meant to be a substitute for clinical counseling, treatment for suicidal ideation, or severe psychiatric problems. Services are not reimbursable through health insurance policies. You (the client) agree that using any of these coaching services is entirely at your own risk. Coaching services are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information services, coaching, uninterrupted access, or products and services provided through or in connection with the service. This service is requested at the client's own choice and with inherent singular responsibility. The client agrees that the use of all, or part, of the service is entirely at the client's own risk. Any actions or lack of actions taken by the client of such advice is done so solely by choice and responsibility of the client and is neither the responsibility nor liability of Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation). No assumption of responsibility is made, or given, and the client requesting such advice agrees not to hold Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) responsible or liable in any form or fashion for such actions taken of their own accord. The method and process by which this advice and direction are given in no way constitute an agreement or liability on the part of the provider and is acknowledged to be different in many ways than clinical counseling or psychotherapy. Any information provided about essential oils has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
REFUND POLICY
A 75% refund may be requested in writing before starting the listening process. Once listening has started, there are no refunds. All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES
Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) reserves the right to terminate services at any time if there is a violation of the terms outlined in this agreement, including but not limited to failure to maintain tracker updates, non-compliance with the SSP or RRP protocol, or any behavior that disrupts the integrity of the coaching process. Should services be terminated for any of these reasons, no refund will be issued. The client may also terminate services at any time by providing written notice; however, no refund will be given once listening has commenced.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Worksheets, videos, and other educational content are the intellectual property of Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
RISKS
With bodywork, there is some possibility that you will experience an uptick in strong emotions or negative behaviors for a short time. This is not uncommon with any new type of therapy or intervention. In part, this is because the interventions are “changing” the nervous system into a more settled state, which may feel disorienting at first. As time passes, the participant should settle into a new, calmer state. Please let your provider know if you have any additional stressors arise during this process.
I understand that a temporary increase in arousal or symptoms may occur. I agree to immediately notify my provider if I or my child experiences any of the following:
- Increased auditory or other sensory sensitivities
- Ear discomfort, pressure, or "ringing" in the ears
- Emotional dysregulation (changes in arousal)
- Gastrointestinal discomfort
- Fatigue
- Headache
Results discussed depend on each individual participant. Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) cannot guarantee success or a particular level of healing, nor is the coach responsible for any of your actions.
INFORMED CONSENT
This process has the potential to create meaningful, positive shifts in the autonomic nervous system, including in sensory, autonomic, physiological, emotional, and cognitive domains.
However, no warranty or guarantee of specific results has been made to me. The risks and potential complications have been fully explained to me along with available alternative treatments and their benefits and risks. I agree to notify my provider of changes I experience during my protocol, so my provider can best support me.
I have had the opportunity to have my questions answered, understand the process for listening, and have access to the needed equipment. I understand that I may pause or discontinue listening at any time.
I understand that statements on Unyte-iLs' or Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation)'s website have not been evaluated by the FDA, and the products and services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Unyte iLs products are not medical devices or instruments.
I understand I have the right to refuse treatment. Nevertheless, I consent to services and accept all associated risks.
PAYMENT AND SERVICE TERMS
Program fee covers onboarding, pre- and post-assessments, and access to ongoing support throughout the protocol. A $100 fee applies for additional rounds of the protocol or if the client goes more than 30 days without listening after starting. Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) reserves the right to remove access to services if the tracker is not kept up-to-date until compliance is restored.
DISCLAIMER FOR PROGRESS OR OUTCOMES
Progress and outcomes vary based on individual differences and cannot be guaranteed. While music and movement based interventions and related coaching methods aim to support nervous system regulation, results depend on various factors, including client engagement and individual responsiveness. These services complement but do not replace professional medical or psychological treatment, and Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) is not responsible for the success or level of healing achieved. By participating in these services, clients acknowledge and accept responsibility for their own progress.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients are responsible for responding to messages and completing action items in a timely manner, following the listening protocol as directed, and not treating SSP and RRP as a quick fix. Active engagement and adherence to the protocol are essential for optimal outcomes. Additionally, session data should be logged in the provided tracker within 24 hours of listening.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Baltimore County, Maryland.
UPDATES TO TERMS
Any updates to these terms will be sent via email to clients. Continued participation in services after receiving such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
PRIVACY AGREEMENT
Payment processing companies and Merchants may have privacy and data collection practices that differ from ours. Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation) has no responsibility or liability for the independent policies of payment processing companies and Merchants. When you make certain purchases through our Programs, Products, or Services, you may be subject to the additional terms and conditions of a payment processing company, Merchant, or us that specifically apply to your purchase. For more information regarding a Merchant and its terms and conditions, visit that merchant’s website and review their information links or contact the Merchant directly.
I release Cork Board Essentials, LLC (aka. RISE to Regulation), our affiliates, our payment processing company, and Merchants from any damages that you incur and agree not to assert any claims against us or them arising from your purchase through or use of our Website or its Content.
